Developed by USAID’s MOMENTUM Country and Global Leadership, the new TRP module on Postpartum Family Planning (PPFP) is designed to support health care workers in developing the knowledge, skills, and attitudes needed to provide accurate information and counseling on PPFP and to promote voluntary and informed choice and decision-making. On completion of this module, participants will be able to provide an overview of PPFP and healthy timing and spacing of pregnancies (HTSP) and educate mothers and their partners on the benefits of PPFP and HTSP and the contraceptive options available to them in the immediate, early, and extended postpartum period.
