Maximizing learning experiences by increasing adaptability, discoverability, and inclusivity and aligning with the trainers needs
The Training Resource Package (TRP) for Family Planning has been developed using latest evidence-based technical information from World Health Organization (WHO) publications: Family Planning: A Global Handbook for Providers; WHO Medical Eligibility Criteria for Contraceptive Use; Selected Practice Recommendations for Contraceptive Use and SPR Web Annexure. This resource provides Reproductive Health trainers, supervisors, and program managers with a comprehensive set of materials required to adapt, design, implement, and evaluate FP trainings. The materials are appropriate for pre-service and in-service training and applicable for use in public and private sectors.

Background
The development of the TRP has been led by WHO, USAID, and UNFPA with contributions from several expert agencies and organizations. Originally launched in November 2012 with six modules in English, the website has since grown steadily to now include eighteen modules in English (fifteen modules on contraceptive methods, and three on cross-cutting topics). Several modules have been translated into French with an ongoing effort to translate others.
