With profound sadness, we remember our departed colleague, Kate Dieringer. Kate worked with USAID as Senior Clinical Family Planning Technical Advisor. Alongside colleagues from WHO and UNFPA, she steered the management of the Training Resource Package for Family Planning, advising and shepherding the work to redesign the site, refresh modules, and moderate the community forum. She consistently guided us with dedication, ensured tools and content aligned with WHO standards, and was resolute in her determination to disseminate the site widely. Kate’s expertise and passion to empower healthcare providers worldwide to deliver quality family planning services was unwavering and left an indelible mark on our field. Our thoughts are with Kate’s family, friends, and colleagues during this difficult time. We will remember her kindness, generosity, beautiful smile, and the genuine care she extended to everyone she encountered. She will be missed, remembered, and honored always.
